Schools celebrate

Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Sioux City celebrated Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 28 to Feb. 3, with a variety of activities.

The National Catholic Education Association established themes for each day that most of the schools follow. Schools also recognized and show appreciation for students, teachers, administration and parents throughout the week. Some of the activities the schools had were bowling, jeans day, special faculty vs. students games, pajama day, collections to help needy people in the community and many more.

Spiritual activities such as Mass and retreats were held during the week as well.
