What have you done to help others in your parish or family?

I have really enjoyed ushering and being a hospitality person at IC. I also like to help my mom get her stuff ready to teach CCD. Father Steve needs our help to keep things running.

This will be the second school year we have helped with our afternoon religious education program. One of us helps in the second grade room with first reconciliation and first Communion preparation and the other helps with the pre-school children.

I work at the Abbey of LeMars, and the residents love me. There is one special resident that would have never laugh, but I could always get her to laugh. Plus I helped my sister at the abbey when she needed my help one night. I also helped with the Girl Scout project, that my sister was working.

I help in the afternoon religious program. I have music time with the pre and first graders and then another music time for second and third graders. We sing songs. This will be my third year.
