Cathedral celebrates 100 years

September 16, 2004

Cathedral of Epiphany celebrated its 100 year anniversary on Sept. 12 with a trilingual Mass. The Mass was celebrated in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. The first reading was read in nine different languages to represent each of the languages in the history of church since 1904. Following the Mass, there was a street party outside of the church on Douglas Street for parishioners and guests. Food and music were provided and represented all of the cultures of Cathedral. Parishioners were able to enjoy hamburgers, rice and ice cream bars while they listened to live entertainment. Posters featuring pictures of the church's stain glass windows were also available for purchase.
