Globe accepting letters to the editorJune 24, 2004The Globe is now accepting letters to the editor. If you are interested in submitting a letter, please follow the criteria outlined in the following policy. Letters policyIn an effort to provide an open forum for discussion, The Globe will accept letters from readers. Letters should be approximately 250 words or less, preferably typed and should include the full name, signature and address of the writer. Please include a daytime phone number for verification. The Globe reserves the right to select and edit letters based on space limitations, pastoral sensitivity and content, including spelling and grammar. Letters should be well-expressed, informed, respectful and temperate in tone. Realizing there is a diversity of opinions within the church, The Globe will provide space for views on issues of the day. Frequent writers may be limited. Letters selected for publication do not necessarily reflect the viewpoint of The Globe or the leadership of the Diocese of Sioux City.
