Our Lady of Guadalupe events

Schedule for the celebrations of Our Lady of Guadalupe are as follows:

Cathedral of the Epiphany, Sioux City - The novena in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be prayed for nine days prior to the feast. At 6 a.m. on Dec. 7 Bishop Daniel N. DiNardo will celebrate Masses in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Another Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. on Dec. 7. A reception will follow each Mass.

St. Boniface, Sioux City - Mass at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 12 followed by a reception.

St. Rose of Lima Church, Denison - The celebration will start with a nine-day novena Dec. 3-11; Mass at 12 midnight on Dec. 11 followed by Mananitas. On Dec. 12 Mass will be held at 6 p.m. On Dec. 14 the Great Kermes, with the arrival of the Guadalupano Torch carried by youth who will run it 10 miles, from St. Ann Church in Vail to St. Rose in Denison. After the torch run, there will be a 6 p.m. Mass followed by a dinner. A retreat will be held in the parish from 10 a.m. until Mass at 6 p.m. on Dec. 14 as well.

St. Patrick Church, Estherville - Mananitas at 4 a.m. on Dec. 12; Parade at 12 noon followed by Mass at 2 p.m. and fiesta at 3 p.m. in the Duhigg Center on Dec. 13.

Sacred Heart, Fort Dodge - Mass at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 12.

St. Mary Church, Hawarden - Bilingual Mass at 5 p.m. on Dec. 6.

St. Mary Church, Rock Valley - Mananitas at 11 p.m. on Dec. 11.

Christ the King, Sioux Center - Mass at 7 p.m. on Dec. 12 followed by a fiesta in the Sioux Center Community Recreation Center.

St. Patrick, Sheldon - Mass at 11 a.m. on Dec. 14 beginning with a procession.

St. Mary Church, Storm Lake - Rosaries will be prayed each day Dec. 4-12, a Mass from 6 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 12 and a festival in the gym from 12 to 4 p.m. on Dec. 14.

St. James Church, Le Mars - Mass at 1 p.m. on Dec. 7.
