Statement on Daniel DeLong

Daniel DeLong has been placed on administrative leave. DeLong was named editor of the Globe in March of this year. 

The charges against DeLong pre-date his employment with the Diocese of Sioux City and allegedly involve charges of providing false information to the United States government. 

Associate Editor Renee Webb will serve as acting editor of the Globe.
