Describe your call to priesthood. It began in 4th grade and gradually continued to ordination on May 27, 1961. Did anyone or anything provide you with inspiration to follow the call to priesthood? God, good example of my Catholic parents, good priests. Was it a difficult decision to make? There was some uncertainty but by God’s Grace I am what I am. What do you enjoy most about being a priest? The privilege of serving God and the Church as a priest. Are there any particular devotions or prayers that are dear to your heart? The Holy Eucharist, Devotion to the Blessed Virgin, Rosary, the Divine Office. Why do you find priesthood to be a worthy vocation? Could any vocation be greater than the privilege of serving God in this way? What would you say to a young man considering a vocation to the priesthood? Let God’s grace work in your life, pray, follow the teachings of the Catholic Church. If God wants you to be a priest – DO IT! |
