Luke in is first button down, which turned out to be uncomfortable for him.

Be thankful all year, not just one day

Thanksgiving Day was Nov. 22 on the calendar, but pretty much every day in our house is a day of thanksgiving. I have noticed this more and more since the arrival of our little miracle, Luke.

I am so thankful to the Lord answering our prayers and blessing us with Luke and all that has happened in our lives since then.

We have amazing family and friends who have always been supportive of us, even when I don’t say it out loud very often.

When Luke arrived, all of these people came out of the woodwork to offer us support and help. People came to visit us while Luke was in the NICU. Each came with hugs, gifts and always asked, “What can we do for you or help you with?”

The nurses and doctors who assisted us while Luke was in the hospital were awesome. I can’t thank them enough for what they did for us and how they helped Luke grow strong enough to be able to come home.

Even though this post is a little later than I planned, I wanted to share what I am currently thankful for.

We were able to spend Thanksgiving Day with my parents and the Saturday after Thanksgiving with Rodney’s family. We are so thankful for all of these people and the time we were able to spend with them.

I have included some new photos of Luke below along with some picture from our Thanksgiving celebrations.

What a wonderful time of year!! Now we are in Advent and then comes Christmas. I can’t wait to share Luke’s adventures at Christmas celebrations with our families.

Prayers for your families and remember express your thanks all year round and not just at Thanksgiving time. Have a blessed day!
